just posting this here to see if anyone is staying in city accomodation at uni of sheffield for 2025/26, particularly in Allen Court - i'd love to get to know people before i go

This link might be useful in getting to know others, there are often Facebook pages for The University of Sheffield prospective students, specifically for each accommodation.

https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/accommodation/flatmates

I recommend joining as many chats and pages as possible, as this is a great way to get to know people and often holds lots of people in it, if you have no luck on this site. I hope that helps in some way 🙂

Hi cosmias, 👋

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't found anyone in your chosen accommodation yet.

It's still great to be part of the various Facebook groups and chats, especially as people will still be applying to accommodation. In particular, the next few months there will be many more people applying for accommodation, especially those who are applying to the university through clearance, so still great to be part of the groups as more people hopefully in city accommodation will be joining! 😀

Have you seen the specific Facebook page for Allen Court? If you haven't already you could join this group and there should be some people in your chosen accommodation!

It's also a good idea to look out for course specific pages and groups as you may find people in there who will be in the same accommodation!
