Went to both inductions but I still don’t know which one to pick.

Honestly I know nothing personally about either, but ive heard about insane academic achievements at Brampton so I would choose there to be honest! My advice would be to choose the one with better academics over all else, or the one that seems like they have more/ are willing to use more resources to aid you in your study,

goodluck!

statistically, NCS is better but ill explain why. According to the gov website (and even bramptons own website), NCS has the same A level results so the difference in academic achievements between the two arent worth mulling over. regardless of which u go to, u wont be scoring worse than if u were to have gone to the other or vice versa. however, what shoudl really be the deciding factor in this case may be post 16 results. as in what universities/other post 16 places students get into because we all know that good grades alone arent enough to get into places like oxbridge. accroding to multiple sources (i can link if u would like), Brampton has an 18% oxbridge acceptance rate whereas NCS has 29%. for erefence this means approximately 1 in 3 NCS students will get into oxbridge but only 1 in 5 bma students get into oxbridge. the reason bma usually gets more total offers is simply due to it being a much larger school (with over 100 more students per year as shown in the gov website) so comparing total offers doesnt account for how much more students a school simply has. thats why its more accurate to copare acceptance rate, with NCS' being greater. I could go on in more detail about other nuances such as admissions help for schools abroad such as harvard but that wouldnt really matter to u if its not of interest.

Please if you don’t mind go into more detail. The Ivy League program is the main thing about ncs that caught my eye.

if u havent already, i highly reccomend visiting the school website here https://sixthform.london/ivy-league-usa-university-application-preparation/ or searching up NCS ivy. the ivy program is basically the school helping students make competitive applications to universities like Harvard. MIT. Princeton, Yale, Stanford and more. They help w SAT prep, common app essays, LORs, interview prep and everything in between. what makes this program unique is that it just isnt easily replicable by other schools. The US application system is completely different from UK, they want more than just strong academics like Oxbridge want. they want a compelling story about u as a person, and most international students like UK students struggle to accommodate this wildly different approach. additionally, the skl brings in an SAT and admissions tutor which would otherwise cost hundreds if a student alone were to purchase their services. Also, since the school has sent many students in the past to these top schoosl, they know all the litle tips and tricks on why their students got in and how to repeat this process. if u were to go to another top skl like bma, teachers who are unfamiliar w the application process and lack that near decade of expereince just wouldnt be able to supprot u. this is important because US applications also ask for teacher references whch make up an important part of applications: if teachers cant write successful references in ways that these top skls like Harvard want then chances are the student will get rejected. finally, NCS ivy league aluminis also come in to the skl for a Q and A at the start of y12 and do interview prep for y13 applicants. i doubt any other state skl in the country has so many alumnis to do 1 to 1 ivy league mock interviews with students. and interviews are also vastly different to UK interviews so having that prep beforehand is just 1 more reason why students are so successful year in and year out

Is Brampton or NCS a better option for students to get into the Ivy League?
