Applying for different courses-what happens with my application please?

Hello there,
I’m hoping you can help me.
I have applied for the Operating Department Practice degree at Hull University but also the BSc (Hons) in Criminology and Forensic Science and also BSc (Hons) Forensic Science also at Hull.

My SFE application only mentions the ODP course, so my questions are:
1) Do I need a separate application for each course?
2) Will the funding be different owing to it being healthcare?
3) The BSc Forensic Science degree leans heavily upon biomedical science and medical modules so is that classed as a STEM/shortage degree?
4) what if I already have a degree?

Thanks,

Katy

Hi Katy,

You don't need a separated application, that's okay - you can change your application later if you need to.

To answer your other questions, can you please tell us if you already have a degree? Or, have you studied previously but didn't get a qualification?

Thanks, Graeme

Thanks Graeme, much appreciated

I did a Spanish degree (4yr sandwich BA Hons) back in 1997

Thanks,

Katy

Hi katymoxon,

Unfortunately those courses are not exceptions to previous study and equal level qualification rule, therefore you wouldn't be eligible for support as you already hold an ELQ.

Thanks, Clare
