Enrolling into 2 sixth form colleges at once?

My current school is a grammar school, and I was originally wanting to study A levels at the sixth form there, seeing I didn't think there was a point in going to a different one - so I didn't apply anywhere else. However recently I've changed my mind and now want to go to a different sixth form college, Greenhead College (GHC). I have to apply for late consideration on results day as it's way past the application date. Obviously while my GCSE grades are predicted to be very good, 8s & 9s across the board, there's always a chance I don't get into GHC due to course availability.

The issue comes with the fact the late consideration form closes on 22nd August, the day after results day. So I won't find out if I get a place until at least then.

However, while I have an accepted offer from my current school's sixth form, they say that they can't guarantee anyone's spot unless they enroll by 3pm on 21st August.

So if I don't enroll in my current school because I'm waiting for my first choice GHC to notify me if I get a place, if I don't get a place in GHC, I might not end up with a place at my current school either. And then I don't have anywhere to go for sixth form.

The obvious solution would be to enroll at my current school first, and then withdraw it if I get accepted late at GHC. I'm not sure if that would be allowed, if I can even enroll in both, if there are any potential consequences etc.

Basically, I just don't know what to do. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, kinda stressed about it right now if I'm honest. If you need any further info please ask! Thanks!

You can enroll in your current school and withdraw later with no issues, just make sure to keep all the relevant parties up to date with your movements as you do
