AQA A Level English Mock

I did my English literature tragedy paper mock yesterday. The question for section B was 'Explore the significance of Othello's background and otherness to the play as a tragedy.' I argued that Othello's otherness, his race, is partly significant, but less significant compared with gender and male homosocial bonds. Now I'm worried that I should have focused more on Othello's otherness and background! Does anyone know if this would have been okay to write about?

Hey, if you argued your point then it’s fine. If other people said what you wish you had then your essay will stand out so it works in your favour.
