Possible majors?

I'm an iB student with my HLs being Bio/Chem/Maths AA, are there any possible majors for me in the UK?

I like chem and math more than the other subjects.

Note that in the UK the terminology "major" is not really used outside of a couple of specific degree programmes. Generally you don't apply to a "major" you just apply to a degree in X subject.

As above you could apply to most bioscience, many physical science, some engineering, as well as most social science and many humanities courses. Also many healthcare professions degrees including e.g. medicine, dentistry, etc.

This is a really open question so you need to start a bit more with what your specific interests are! Given you say you're interested in chemistry and maths most - what parts of chemistry do you enjoy? Are you really keen to continue chemistry labwork and studying actual chemical reactions and such? Or are you more interested in it in a broader sense of e.g. learning about materials, physical processes, etc?

Depending on your specific interests you may want to look into chemistry or chemical physics courses, or perhaps materials science or chemical engineering. Note there is a lot less chemistry than you may think in materials science and especially in chemical engineering though, so if you are really principally motivated by purely chemistry, I would recommend mainly looking at chemistry or chemical physics courses

Check the 'entry requirements'' on the website course page for the degree subjects / Uni that interests you - they will state very clearly what HL or SL subjects/grades are required.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! As has been said, there are a lot of options open to you with those subjects at HL. I'd recommend taking a look at a few unis course glossary pages (example) to see what courses they offer - you may find an interesting course on there you hadn't thought of before. Just think about what subjects you are A) interested in as a potential future career, and B) strong in.

I'd also recommend looking through the complete university guide to see which UK unis are highest performing for the courses/subjects you're interested in - whilst rankings should not be a primary factor in your decision, they serve as a good source of inspo for places you might want to consider.

It might also be good for you to go to a few unis' open days - the next round are happening in autumn from Sep-Nov. Here you can take a look at a few campuses, attend course presentations for any courses you want to find out more about, meet lecturers and student ambassadors who are all super-friendly and will give you their honest opinion of the uni and their course.

I hope this helps a bit, best of luck with your next steps!
