All most all applicants study A-Level Maths and Economics and some do History but many applicants to the LSE, Warwick, Bath, Edinburgh, UCL and a few to name do Further Maths due to the highly quantitative nature of the BSc Economics degree. Also, taking one from Physics, Chemistry and Biology is common and to a lesser extent a language like French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian and Arabic.

Remember 40% of Oxford and Cambridge applicants will have 4 A-Levels. So, you really should take Maths in Year 12 and in Year 13 definitely Further Maths (especially for other top university BSc Economics degrees) Economics and one from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics or History.
