top university for computer sciece
hi guys,
Computer science is a very big course and it has a lot of things to do and gain experience, at my uni I find my modules easy and manageable to do, even at some universities they have online exams for all their modules.
My question is why ppl at top unis like cambridge, oxford or UCL they all say the course is hard, i just want to see what exactly they say is hard about the cs are the concepts different or do they mean the pressure of the internships applications or what

What university are you at? That will allow a direct course comparison.

Not all university courses are the same level of difficulty. Some are much harder than others.

What was so hard about the Cam CS course was both the difficulty of the courses, and the number of courses per term. Many of our courses dig very deep into the mathematical theory behind the topic – for example in our algorithms course I wrote more proofs than I did programs! We also had a lot of courses per term (second year courses: https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/teaching/2324/part1b.html), keep in mind that each term is only 8 weeks long at Cambridge! There are also high expectations and the exams can be very difficult (if you are curious and looking for a challenge, try giving some of them a go: https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/teaching/exams/pastpapers/)!
