Nottingham University Offer HELP!!

I applied to Nottingham University via Ucas Extra for Industrial Economics. I already have achieved grades from 2024, and I exceeded their minimum entry requirements. So then I received a conditional offer from them in which they are asking for 2 grades higher than their minimum entry requirements are, and 1 grade higher than what I achieved.

I dont understand how they sent me an offer is they already know from my UCAS application what I have already achieved.

The conditional offer states I need to send them my results, I am really confused by this whole process, I assumed I would be offered unconditional as I exceeded the requirements. I understand that they can change entry requirement after deadlines but my grades are already on my UCAS application given by my Sixth Form, so I should have been unsuccessful straight away if they are asking for 2 grades higher, instead of asking me to send my results.

I hope this has been a mistake on their end as I was so pleased with it up until I read the conditions of the offer properly.

Looks like a mistake. What grades do you have and what did they ask for?

Have you contacted them and asked about it?

Hopefully it is a mistake. So basically I did a BTEC, and their requirements were D*DD and I achieved D*D*D but they are asking on my offer for D*D*D*. My GCSE's are quite high however so was confused on this.

I contacted them via WhatsApp, they said it could be a mistake and they emailed admissions for me which can take up to 5 days to reply, hence why I am asking around. Clearing starts on the 5th and I really wanted it sorted before then :frown:

Yep looks like an error to me. They shouldn't have given you any kind of "offer" anyway, you should have been accepted or rejected. Try phoning.

If they are asking for your results, then you need to send them your certificates, and they will then change your offer to Unconditional.
