My mom gets mad when I keep my hair curly. Can someone help?

Ever since I've let my hair go curly for the past month or so, my mom has been getting mad about it and has been telling me to straighten it. Ever since I developed curly hair at the start of puberty (I was 8 I believe), my mom never wanted to deal with my hair the way it was so she bought a straightening brush and used that on me. It ALWAYS was frizzy and... dry? About two years ago, she found a product called "Mizani" and the specific product from them was a straightening yogurt type thing which fixed the frizz and dryness, which also made it more soft. I really liked it honestly, and it does well. It lasts about six-seven months and after that period of time, my mom added the product again to keep it straight.

Now we are in the current time period, about two months ago, my mom put the product again. I noticed this time it was becoming hard to manage (?) so I decided to keep my hair curly. I finally came to realize that my mom didn't want to help take proper care of my hair and help it stay natural. Instead she got SO OBSESSED OF KEEPING MY HAIR STRAIGHT (keep this part in mind) because of her not wanting to deal with it. I came to a decision that I would take care of it myself.
And now, since I keep my hair curly almost all the time, my mom starts to throw fits and yell at me because I won't keep it straight. And she also said that I'm trying to be a black person (idk if she's trying to be racist or something, because she's black herself). This is the part where I mean that she's obsessed with keeping my hair straight. She then goes on to say that I'm the one who's obsessed with keeping my hair curly, even though I'm taking care of it and keeping it the way it should be.

Please help me out here, it would be appreciated. I'm just trying to find ways to get through to her, it might be hard to do so because she likes to stay in her own mindset and not listen to other people, but please help!

and this one is actually a serious problem cuz their mother shouldn't be so insistent on keeping their hair straight that her child's hair is getting ruined.
