Could I get into a prestigious university like oxford with my GCSE grades
Hi, I'm in Y12 and will hopefully study medicine in uni. But I'm wondering if I can get into a high ranking university with my 8 GCSE's with grades 99998559. I took my GCSEs in 2024 and got grade 4s and 5s. I am retaking them in 2026 and those are my predicted. Thank you

I guess I should add something. these are retakes since after I got bad I before and I am now being home-schooled. I took my GCSEs in 2024 and got grade 4s and 5s. I am retaking them in 2026 and those are my predicted.

predicted 999 in triple science 55 in geography and English lit. 99 in math and health and social. 8 in English lang. i don't think previous grades matter since I wont be applying with them, its just the fact that i am resitting exams which can look bad. i got 4s in science and math and 5s in English lang. 6 in lit and 9 in health and social.

well id assume It would be fine but Oxford might take into a account how you retook your exams
