Can I do a second degree at the same time if I finishing my masters in 2026?

Hello,
It possible to apply for a second degree in occupational therapy online or blended now even if currently I am doing a masters in computer science and will finish in 2026. Also I used for both the student finance ( bachelors and masters now).

In theory, it is possible to undertake these simultaneously but would prove challenging for most people. Also, Student Finance would only allow loans for one set of degrees (foundation plus bachelors etc). You would need to self fund additional degrees.

Hi,

Whilst it is possible to take two degrees simultaneously in the UK, it is contingent on approval from both universities. Some university policies allow students to be enrolled in two programmes at once but many don't so the first step would be to check with both universities whether this is an option that they allow. If both programmes are full-time, it is unlikely to be allowed but it is worth asking both universities.

In regards to Student Finance, typically SFE will not fund another degree, especially considering that you have used up your funding for your masters as well as bachelors. However, some healthcare degrees are eligible for additional funding and Occupational Therapy is likely to qualify for this. I suggest reaching out to the Student Finance team to confirm this but only once you have confirmed you will be able to take both courses at the same time from both universities.

Best of luck!
