Help Me Choose Between the following university Data Science Programs!

I recently got accepted into the University of Essex, UWE Bristol, University of Hertfordshire, and Abertay for a Data Science program. I plan to take all of them online.

Could anyone provide insights on which university has a better global reputation? Are they similar in terms of prestige, or should I primarily consider tuition fees if their reputations are comparable? Specifically, I’m looking to compare the University of Essex and UWE Bristol.

You can look at this yourself in the UK university rankings tables that are published every year for an approximate guide to reputation.

I don't think any of those universities will have a global reputation outside of the UK as they are quite lowly ranked in the UK. E.g. in the Complete University Guide, Hertfordshire is 82nd and Abertay is 94th.

Why is global reputation important to you? Hopefully how the course meets your learning and career objectives should be the most important criteria?

Bear in mind that a lot of courses at lesser UK universities are aimed mainly at international students. The quality is debateable compared to the more academic universities, mainly in the Russell group.

As an international student, my goal is to pursue a Master's degree from a recognized institution that will equip me with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the global job market. I am particularly interested in working in Canada or the USA after completing my studies.

There is no such thing as a global job market. Job markets in Europe for example, tend to be very local / country specific.

If you want to work in the USA after doing a Masters then you should seriously look at doing your degree there. Many Americans will have heard of Oxford, Cambridge and maybe one or two other British universities but I doubt anyone over there will have heard of any of the ones you are looking at. An online degree from a relatively weak UK university is unlikely to help you much to get into a Masters there.
