Clinical Psychology Doctorate and MSc overlap

Hi all, I am preparing my first year of applying for the DClinpsych but am still in the proceed of completing a 2 year MSc in Psychological Therapies.

My current course is due to finish in Sept 2026, however I am very ahead of my studies and plan to be completed a lot earlier than this.

I know courses don't allow overlap when you start the Doctorate. I'm wondering if anyone has been in a similar position to mine and how they overcame this? Would I still be awarded my MSc if I complete all of my assignments and withdraw early?

Any advice appreciated!

If you have received funding for the MSc Psychological Therapies, whether you complete or not, then you won’t receive funding for Clinical Psychology for 18 months post MSc.
