Although I cant help you directly connect with students going to Oxford Brookes, I have a couple ideas for you. I know when I started at LJMU there is a specific app that they offer that allows you to join group chats with other students. There are certain chats for different courses and even accommodations! It is very useful and it might be worth looking into for Oxford Brookes as they might offer something similar?
Also, when I booked my accommodation, the app automatically put us into a group chat with the people that were also in the same flat! It would definitely be worth checking as these 2 ways are excellent to get to know people before starting in September!
Posting on here is a very good idea also so hopefully some people get back to you and you can start to connect with some students! It might be worth posting in the Oxford Brookes uni section or the section for unis in the south as it will then target the right people!
