Regarding a reserve list, I assume it is the same as a wait-list.

Yes, some schools do give offers to you after being wait-listed, but I would not hold my breath.

It is usually more favourable if you have already attended an interview and they can use the interviewer's review as additional points to your application.

I do recommend expanding your options, and not to put all your eggs into one basket.

My son is on the reserved list for Theatre Post 16...no news. He's got some other options....
