Should I give monney?

Hello, one of my friends is taking us out to a place group of 5.
I really don't mind paying for my own ticket, as it will help the other person and I think that is the right.

I told him that I would pay for my ticket and he said don't worry, I paid for it all. Is it rude to continue saying that I will pay for it, or shall I just accept it?

Where iam from we usally like to pay for our own thing and we both fight for who is going to pay first. But I see that england is different and people seem to be more accepting straight away as none of my friend mentioned that they will pay for their own ticket or anything like that.

Please advice me is it rude to insist that I will pay for my ticket?

Polite to offer but rude to insist if someone is making clear it's their gift. If you want to contribute pay for food/drinks etc.
