Working at Newcastle university
So if I was to work for the uni ( as a student) would i be able to get consistent shifts like always working 3 times a week for the same amount time. Because when i get to uni i really need a consistent job thats flexible but i also want to go back and see my family if i want to( and not have to book off holiday etc)

It depends what student job you’re looking for! Newcastle uni has an on campus Wetherspoons, so their shifts would be consistent.
However, for roles such as a student ambassador, shifts are much rarer, and typically occur during the day on a weekend.
There are more opportunities if you go on their website.
You may be better off looking at hospitality jobs in the city!
