Can someone help in guiding on good universities to go for Computer science(engineering) ?

Hiya,

I have just finished my 3rd year studying Computer Science and AI student at the University of Sheffield. When applying, I found it useful to read through the modules offered at different universities, alongside the types of courses offered and the facilities available.

I ended up choosing the University of Sheffield as I found the research areas that the lecturers were working on aligned with my interest. However, if your goals are more industry related, it is good to look at courses that offer a year in industry as this will allow you to gain relevant work experience during your studies that can help you explore career pathways and gain real-life application practice.

I would also recommend going to open days to see what the cities are like and speaking to student ambassadors to find out more about their experiences.

I hope that helps and let me know if you have anymore questions!

Are you more interested in the academic mathematical side, the physical engineering aspect or more of a computing aspect (programming, software engineering, cyber security, data science)?
