Why does everyone recommend savemyexams for study notes?

i'm trying to get ready for sixth form by looking for the best a-level notes for bio and chem and i keep seeing everyone recommend savemyexams but their notes are so short and barely go into any detail + are locked by a paywall. Why is savemyexams so popular when free options like physicsmathstutor exist that go into more detail?

You don't need any of this stuff. Its another highly commercial outfit just designed to make money. There are no short-cuts to getting good grades - ultimately it depends entirely on you, and the amount of work you are prepared to put it.

Remember - there is direct correlation between hours spent in the quiet study room and high grades, and similarly between too many hours spent messing about in the common room and tears on Results Day.

I think save my exams and cognito and pmt have notes that may be more accessible than the textbook but are in my experience more commonly used by people who slacked and now don't have enough time to make their own notes. I really wouldn't say its worth any money, making your own notes is a very effective way too learn!
