Hi,
Do not panic, I was in exactly the same situation as you last year. The first 10 mocks are typically horrid. What i would recommend is to review each mock and more practice for worst sections. With decision making, I skipped long paragraph ones till the end and attempted short syllogisms first. For syllogisms(initially my worst) i started using diagrams with symbols(=same as, —>indicating that all individuals in one set belong in other but not necessarily vice versa, and -/-> meaning not equal). Watch youtubers such as future doc and emil eddy as well as others like dr ollie. Keep calm, for me i was scoring horribly until a week or 2 before my ucat. For the other worst section- verbal, i used the keyword technique from future doc. The key thing is learning when to skip questions…set yourself a timer that if you cross a certain amount of time on a question, you skip. For me i gave a decision making question 30-45 seconds and if nothing made sense then i skipped. Dont worry you got this, everyone is in the same boat as you.

Hi, Ive just started my UCAT revision yesterday with 44 days until i sit my exam.
i did my first mock test and scored 1580 Band 3, which i know is horrible, but im trying to convince myself its okay as its my first ever mock and i didnt exactly sit it in the best of conditions environment wise.

i ideally want to aim for 2200 to 2300, and am currently using medify and was wondering if there are any tips for a beginner that anyone may have which would be useful And if there is hope for me after my diabolical first performane??

Hi, im also doing my ucat this year- a lot of people suggested to me about starting a ucat log book so essentially this involves reviewing each of your sections and then making brief notes on where you went wrong- this allows you to reflect upon your mistakes. I have been doing this after each one of my mocks(i have mine in 30 days) and i would say it’s working!!

Hey, I’m a med student and I’ve put together a short 30-minute session on the SJT this Tuesday (6 to 6:30pm). I found SJT really tricky at first, but eventually worked out a few strategies that helped me start scoring Band 1 consistently.
Just thought I’d mention it in case you might find it useful! I can send you the link if you'd like.
