Long distance relationship advice
I recently meet a woman on a dating app and been speaking for a week and we get along with eachother but she yet to officially enter a relationship and her reasons for it I can understand. I am the only person she is talking to because of her beliefs and she would like me to visit her however there are some complications, first of there's my parents, how do I go about telling them there this girl I'd like to visit but she lives in Indonesia and a flight to visit her would be 18 hours and over 1k in costs.there no doubt they would take it well and probably tell me I'm an idiot which to be honest they wouldn't be wrong There also the case that if I go there and it turns out that we don't have the best chemistry that she may end things, this is something I will discuss with her as our relationship is based on trust and truth.we are both adults,she 24 and I'm 26, perhaps what I'm doing is foolish,to visit a woman who I know a bit about and going to a country thst isn't exactly built up like Europe if you get my meaning. Any advice would be appreciated.

Whilst I appreciate that you may well value your parents' opinion, at the age of 26 you are an adult who can make your own choices and decide how to spend your own money. At the same time, spending that amount of money to fly half way around the world to see someone that you've only been speaking to for a week is clearly absolutely insane. At least get to know her more, commit to an actual relationship and ensure as far as you can that that relationship is stable before you do something like that.
