Hi there,

Whether you take notes on paper or digitally is completely a personal choice. I tend to do so digitally as I like to have the lecture slides readily available on my laptop and my notes on the other side of my screen. Most people in my lectures tend to make digital notes but some use paper or notebooks.

I think it’s best to work out how you will be best organised. For example, I know I am more organised with digital files than pieces of paper but if you like to have physical folders for each topic consider make physical notes.

It’s also a good idea to think how you are more likely to use your notes. If you only revise with paper material it would be best to use paper for notes but it varies for everyone. I like being able to use my digital notes to easily turn them into online flashcards but if you prefer using paper flash cards and notes this is not an issue.

I hope this helps!
