Law application book recommendations

Hi, I wanted to come on here and ask for any book recommendations which would be good to support my personal statement for a law course. I have already read ‘The rule of law’ and ‘All about law’ however I know that they are quite broad and many people will have also read the rule of law so it wouldn’t really help me to stand out. Any suggestions that were useful for you would be helpful, thank you.

It depends who you apply to. My university, I didn't even put any law books I read on my personal statement and they gave me unconditional offer.

What area of Law are you particularly interested in? Do you have a preferred university course or module that you are most drawn to? I would start there and research some of the books on the first year reading list, or similar reading.

If you're interested in that area then the reading will be a lot easier to apply to your personal statement!

My university, this is what I tell people when studying law and choosing the university. Look at their modules and what modules you want to study/learn about. My uiniversity and specifically the area I wanted to go into was medical law and mine teaches medical law in year 2 of undergrad. But most universities I looked at don't have that module in their undergrad nor masters. And most are masters but it is an INDIVIDUAL module for masters and you have to pay extra ontop of and not built into the 3 year undergrad or 1 year masters
