Hey! So the whole process is actually online. You have to apply directly through the university websites there's no admission test.

Some people use agencies, but honestly, they're quite expensive. You can totally apply by yourself because all the informations are clearly explained on each university’s site.

For some universities, you might need to translate a few documents, but once you've done it once, you can use those same translations for multiple applications.

How are the studies here? To be honest, it’s pretty chill. There’s not a lot of academic pressure, and most teachers are quite relaxed and chill.

Safety-wise, Romania is really safe. I’ve never experienced or even heard of racism until now. There are a lot of Muslim communitie and many girls wear the hijab it’s calm.

I'm honestly loving it here and I'm really glad I chose Romania over Bulgaria and btw I am not any agent or working for an agency. If you have more question you can message me on my ig.

Sorry, I forgot about the tuition fees so at the university I go to, it's around €6,500 per year for dentistry and €8,500 for medicine. Most of the other universities are more expensive usually between €8,500 and €10,000 per year.

Hey I am also interested ins studying abroad dentistry and stuck between bulgaria and romania. I am leaning more towards romania but what would help me in making my decision is understanding how they manage clinical patients. So for example in bulgaria I know they require the students to physically find the patients themselves and well as you can imagine it sounds tough because if luck is not on your side you might not find the right type of patients or enough to fill your quota to pass. Is this the same case for Romania or do they sort out the patients for you? What university do you study at in romania? I am interested in Ovidius University Constanta or University of Medicine & Pharmacy Craiova mostly due to the financial aspect and what me and my family can afford. As well I was thinking of applying withought and agency but like you mentioned it's pretty straightforward which is good to hear. What are the documents you typically need to translate and stuff? Or how much would the whole process cost if applying by yourself?

I haven't applied yet I am in the same boat as you. I want to apply for 2026 but at the moment I am looking for more information surrounding it just like you. You can contact me if you'd like, it's nice to know there is also someone out there going through it with you!

For all those graduating before 2028 yes it is recognized but for those graduating after 2028 it’s not sure yet since the GDC hasn’t published anything yet. But I personally think that it will still be recognized even after 2028

Depend which university you apply to, but in my university there’s isn’t a lot. But I’ve heard in UMF Constanta there’s.

For the admission process it was pretty simple since everything is explained on each uni website and when ur not sure you can just call them or email them and they’ll help you out.
