Physics A level Help/Advice

Hey for a bit of background I study Maths Chemistry and Physics for a levels and I am aiming to apply for chemical engineering (I’m aware that I should’ve chosen further maths lack of guidance and indecisiveness is why I don’t do it) this year, I’ll also be sitting the ESAT exam in October hopefully as well.

I’ve mainly been stuck on Cs (for physics)for majority of the year and one or two marks from a B. It’s not until I got access to Uplearn did I realise how much content had been skipped out in classes and how big the gap of knowledge I actually have in the subject.

I did my UCAS mocks recently and I’m not sure of the predicted grade I got yet but despite that I really want to aim to get an A/A* next year and ensure I’m in a good position for the exams. I wanted to ask what should I prioritise the most because I don’t want to waste time doing something that I’ll come to regret later.

Should I just re learn the whole year 1 over summer with Uplearn (minus some topics that I’ve already done). And from previous students who scored or are predicted highly is flashcards really worth it for physics? Or what worked best for you

Sorry for the long rambling post I wasn’t sure how to condense it any further.

Using Uplearn to catch up on the missing content during the Summer sounds like a good idea.

I would definitely advise you to do so,
for context I did AQA A-level physics, and even students were were predicted A-stars often felt blindsided by the exams (2024).
After many, many complaint's, we all found out a lot of the content was meant to be covered in class but was omitted as it was considered 'intuitive'.

And unfortunately as certain questions are heavily-dependant on context cues, which the examboard will already assume you know, you'll be in trouble if you haven't seen these niche content areas before.
