Postgrad CPR urgent

Hi there. Bit of background for my case.

I have had OCD diagnosed for about 5 years now. For the first 4 I was able to manage it well and kept on track with my undergraduate degree, even though it was 100 miles away. I started post-grad studies at the local uni where I live, expecting stability as I was at home and in a similar environment. This didn't happen. My OCD deteriorated significantly and quickly and I wasn't able to focus on work at all, so I had to drop out.

I am now recovered and want to start anew at uni doing postgraduate studies so I can continue my academic journey.

If I get a gp letter explaining how I was affected that is signed and dated, a university letter explaining why I left that is done by programme coordinator, and a cover letter explaining that it was totally unexpected and I tried all therapy methods that had worked previously, would that be enough to get funding back?

I have heard that CPR for postgrad is tougher to get. Is this true?

Hi there. The letter from the university can be from the programme coordinator or a teacher/tutor or someone who works in student support services at the university, as long as it's on university headed paper.

As long as the letters confirm your reasons for dropping out and how this impacted you and is singed dated. Same as the cover letter from yourself. Thanks, Leah.

Hi there,

Thanks for this.

On a new note my previous uni is refusing to provide a headed letter as when dealing with health issues it isn't in their policy.

Would a signed gp letter be enough?

The GP letter may be enough but it depends if the university has told us you withdrew from the previous course for health reasons. If they didn't tell us this on the previous withdrawal then we would need a letter from them to confirm this or they would have to update the withdrawal notification they sent us previously to tell us you withdrew due to health. Thanks, Leah.

Hi Leah,

How can I check this? On my withdrawal form I did indicate ill health was the reason for withdrawing so hopefully they indicated that.

Kind regards
