MOOCs and online courses

hello,
over this summer i would like to do some MOOCs to put on my application, but i feel like some of them feel kind of scammy?..
does anyone have previous experience with online courses and can recommend some reputable ones?

FutureLearn (mostly from UK Unis) and Coursera (mostly from US Unis) are reliable and not scams. Just dont bother paying anything - because you don't need to prove you did these by having the certificates - and be aware that for certain vocational degree subjects, the courses offered by non-UK Unis may not reflect UK conditions/regulations.

What is you intended degree subject?
