University grading

Hi, I’m aiming for a first or 2:1 in my criminology degree my second year grades have been between 40% to 60% how can I still achieve a first or a 2:1 at the end of my degree

By working a lot harder. If you've not yet got above 60, then a 1st is probably not achievable but with a lot of work, you should still be able to save a II(1).

Hi @common-dimple

I would say the first thing to do is to look over all your feedback from your assignments and exams this year and last year to see what you can work on.

Also hopefully now you have a better idea of what works for you in terms of managing your time and revision and could maybe put together a plan/ a weekly timetable of how you are going to incorporate studying into your week.

I would also say reach out to your tutors for help and make the most of the support and recourses at university, because at the end of the day it is what you are paying for.
