69.4 result in year 2. Does 2% upgrade rule apply in year 2?
Hi if someone gets 69.4 in 2nd year so rounded down to 69.A 2.1. Does the 2% classication upgrade apply to yesr 2 so a 1st or is it only available for final yesr results. Thank you

Check your programme regulations. No-one on TSR can tell you - certainly not without knowing the university and exact course you're on.

It's unlikely you'll get a formal classification for your second year. If you drop out at that point you'll typically (subject to your university's regulations) be given an exit award of a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE), but that won't be classified.
Where people say "oh, I got a 2:1 in the second year", they're just informally translating a mark of between 60 and 69.99 into a degree classification -- it's highly unlikely that they've been given that formally.
As to the final classification at the end of the course, then that will depend on the regulations -- things like how are the individual marks are made up into overall module marks (are they calculated exactly, or to some number of decimal places, or to an integer value; are fractional marks rounded -- and if so are they rounded up or down); how is the overall degree classification calculated and are there rules for borderline cases) -- all these things will be written down so they can be applied consistently.

Hiya!
Congratulations on your results! Either way, they are still very good and high results and you should be proud!
As said, it is best to check with your personal tutor or programme leader. Each university and even course can be slightly different, and it is best not to get hopes up unless confirming officially with your institution.
You can even google your course academic regulations, they can be tricky to read sometimes though so it's best to consult your programme lead 🙂
