am i allowed to apply to medicine + DHT undergraduate?

title. ik people see DHT and would rightfully assume dentistry but i don't want to do dentistry (i feel like if i am to learn science and spend 6 years to end up with careers only to do with the mouth/jaw that's not something i want and i love medicine hehe :3)

i know what they do, it's just in terms of my timeline ig, doing 5/6 years for the mouth/jaw to me i don't see as like worth it (again to me personally)

Do you realise how long is takes to qualify as a doctor.
And it isnt just the degree course.

yes i know and understand how long it takes. i understand all the downsides and increasing competition, i know about the public perception of doctors and the current state of the NHS. i know how rewarding it can be and there will be good days amongst the bad days

icl i could have worded/expanded on my og post im looking now and i can see why you're so hostile but i can assure you this isn't a decision im asking about on the spot :smile:

You can apply to both but you'll want to tailor your personal statement to medicine, the dht course admissions team should know it's an alternate choice but even better if you can create a second PS and attach that also
