Oxford Biology Predicted Grades

Hi everyone, I have recently received my predicted grades for my A-Levels which are A*A*B. The B is in Physics and although I was only 1 mark off the next grade, my school are really stingy about changing the prediction to A*A*A.

I want to apply for Biology at Oxford (requirement A*AA) does it make more sense to ask my school to balance my grades to A*AA or try and apply with A*A*B? Thanks

I personally would get them to change it, perhaps show keen and chat to your teacher on how to achieve the top grades and explain how you will provoke this improvement

I really have been trying this over the last few days and they really don’t seem to budge unfortunately

Have they given a reason for not bumping your grade? Push for a real reason why if possible

Is there no way to do a retake? If they're stingy with everyone to make it fair (even if it's a bit unreasonable in some cases) it's gonna be hard to make them change it without you doing better on a retake.
