Chances of me getting into Glasgow

My conditional offer for English Lit required me to get BB at Higher, but I worry I won't get the turnout I was hoping for in my results.

Would I still have a chance of getting in to this course with ACC (The A at higher would come from a B at advanced higher)? Is there some leeway with the grades or would I need exactly what was stated in the offer?

Additionally, my grades last year were AABC.

Simple answer - no-one knows, not even the Uni, because it will depend on how many other offer holders get the required grades, how many spaces there then are for 'near miss' applicants.

And, you have probably done better than you assume, so try not to over think this - all the endless what-ifs will drive you nuts.

Hi @spongebobfan24

Congratulations on your offer to come study at UofG!

Priority will be given to students who meet our entry requirements as stated on their offer. However, there are situations where we can still admit those who fall slightly below.

Our advice just now is not to panic and once you have received your results, you can begin to plan your next step🙂

If there's anything else I can help with, please do let me know?

Thanks,
