Just finished A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths, exams were a mixed bag, and not even sure how I feel… But ask me anything, e.g study advice, general revision tips, exam technique!

Hi,
Yes your options are okay for all med schools as you are taking bio and chem except Oxbridge (which requires a level maths)

and as for chem, can start off as a shock (if you’re going into year 12) because it’s a little bit of a jump so do any bridging materials given) honestly it’s really a matter of ensuring you stay on top of things so that you don’t fall behind such as doing homework regularly, recapping using the textbook. Would highly recommend machemguy YouTube regardless of your exam board. He has walkthroughs of compiled topic-based questions (compiled by himself). The organic synthesis map memorization can be hard, but if you practice topic based questions on it and make flashcards on your common mistakes, you will find you get better, even if slowly.

Physical chemistry is honestly a practice makes perfect sort of thing. Would recommend Dalton Chemistry (website) for further topic based questions further into your revision.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need advice for the other subjects.
