Any tips on section one of the personal statement?

Looking to study economics at Cambridge (if I’m lucky) but am really struggling with the first section of my personal statement. Any advice?

UCAS is a good starting point: https://www.ucas.com/applying/applying-to-university/writing-your-personal-statement/the-new-personal-statement-for-2026

hiii ik the PS statement has changed this year but my friend has off for september this year at cambridge. for his he styled it as an academic essay so while he was answering the questions he focused on a key area/topic he most enjoyed or found most interesting in his subject. he then said why that was the most interesting for him and then he worded it in a way where his supercurriculars where not just like listed but tied into how they link to the area of interest and how it formed his views or if his views changed because of those acvities he took part in.
so for the first section i think its like why do u want to study this subject and this is where i would introduce ur interest and that specific area u find most appealing as this makes ur PS more unique to u, u can go into more detail as ur more knowledgeable about it, and then its not similar to everyones application, making u stand out and showint ur genuine passion for the subject
