How to look after your mental health during the results period

Results approaching means a stressful time for a lot you, which makes it all the more important to look after your mental health.

Here are some top tips for looking after your mental health during this time :badger:
Talk to people! It is important to talk to people you trust when feeling worried, a problem shared is a problem halved and all that jazz :danceboy:

Distraction! There is an awful lot of things you cannot control at the moment, and fretting about it will make you feel worse. Examples include: engaging in hobbies, going out with friends, watching your favourite TV shows, playing video games or going for walk :nyan:

Exercise! Exercise causes your brain to release endorphins which make you feel good :run:

If you find yourself feeling very low or your anxiety is impacting your ability to function day to day it may be time to reach out for professional help. You can contact your GP or you could self-refer to a local NHS talking therapies service (16+).

In a mental health crisis you can contact:
The Samaritans 116 123 (phone)
Shout 85258 (text crisis service)
NHS 111 Option 2 Mental Health
Papyrus 0800 068 41 41

If you have self-harmed or tried to end your life get yourself to A&E or call 999 for an ambulance.
