Well, it would be an indication that you're not a very good doctor.
If 27 eminent psychiatry experts (including one who literally wrote the book on diagnosing NPD) review a large body of evidence of a subject's behaviour and come to the conclusion that he has NPD, are they wrong simply because the subject isn't officially their patient?
Seriously, time to give it up and move on. Trump has NPD. FACT!

They can certainly have a professional opinion, but I don't feel you can specifically diagnose things you aren't connected to or have incomplete information about, as much as it might seem blindingly obvious to some.

Does anyone remember when Trump fabricated his doctor’s report and we were all like, “haha! Silly old Trump!”.

I think people are quibbling over technical semantics.
Trump is obviously a delusional narcissist. Many experts in the field of diagnosing NPD have confirmed this.
Clearly, Trump fanbois are upset, but the truth often hurts (not that many of them would recognise it even if it was prescribed by a doctor).

Ah yes, those happy days when he was just an hilarious distraction, rather than one of the most dangerous men on the planet.

I’m not a fan of Trump, far from it. I find it incredible that a country the size of the United States has, over the last 10 years, ended up with such a limited choice of Presidential candidates. BUT that doesn’t mean that we can extrapolate and mis quote just to win an argument. By doing that the quality of debate is diminished and this thread loses all interest.

The solution imho is to elect Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez as next US President. They need a young and vibrant person who has the right background and can engage with a wider audience.

I don't remember calling you a Trump fan (what was that you were saying about misquoting?).
To get back to the point, do you think that Trump is not suffering from NPD? If so, where do you think all those eminent experts in the field have got it wrong?
If you accept that he is, what was your point?

The problem is that the "wider audience" of the US electorate is essentially white/Christian/conservative. It is nonsensical to think they would vote for AOC in any numbers.

Also, WTF?
You think Trump is the best president the US has ever had, but think AOC is the better option?
Some consistency please!

BORING! I don’t think this was the initial topic of debate .

They voted for Obama twice, so it is possible.

Yes, President Trump is one of the greatest. However, i do think AOC will make a great President. Like I told you, I am on the hard left of the Labour Party.

Always amuses me when people take the time to post about how boring a discussion is - especially when they have been involved in it until now.

If Obama had been a hard-progressive female, he would not have been elected. Simples.

"I am on the hard left of the Labour Party."
🤣
No. You are not.

What amuses me is that those that shout the loudest and longest about something actually believe that they have proved there point, and they never realise that eventually they are shouting to an empty room because they have closed down the debate .
On this note I am also leaving the room.

Obama was progressive like AOC and brought in Obamacare

Erm, you do realise that this is a debate forum. The whole point of being here is to present, defend and challenge arguments and positions in a back and forth with others?
It would be bizarre to not do that on here.
Equally bizarre to complain about others doing it.

I actually like this choice. There're a few views of her I disagree with, but overall she would make a good choice bc of what you say as well - she's young, vibrant and has an inspiring background. Tulsi Gabbard has some presence too, but she's way too right-wing for me. And since she's joined the republicans, there've been many moments when it felt like she was lacking a backbone.

Yes, that’s fair.

It may sound harsh but I think some of the problems that persist across the West (or beyond) stem from the quality of leadership which tends to be old with stale ideas. Surely, it should be a bit weird that the US leadership (as an example) is filled with people who are OAPs.

Actually, looks like it is Trump who has been "stone walled". 😂
