Doctoral loan

Hi.

For doctoral loan. Last year if I withdrew for medical from my course but did receive payment

When I go to reapply would I have to provide CPR when doing this would that be ok?

I’m not sure if it’s needed as I withdrew from last course or not. No problem if it is just so I know what to do regarding application

Hi Oliver,

Yes, that's right - we'll need to see evidence to Compelling Personal Reasons (CPR) with your new application. For more information on CPR please see the link below.

Hi from me having to withdraw from my last doctoral course. It generated an overpayment due to obviously receiving payments.

When I re apply under CPR will the overpayment of 4k ish affect my entitlement or as this is CPR will it not? How will this work.

Hi there. The CPR decision would not be impacted by an overpayment amount, these are all looked at on a case by case basis solely on the reason you could not continue your studies. Thanks, David
