What should my portfolio to do a Art-Alevel look like?

So I didnt do art as a gcse, however I want to do it as an a-level, I do have experience in Art, but I was wondering how good does my art have to be to get into the a-level in the first place. Please send like some pictures for me to understand it thanks

At this level, the main thing is going to be showing your enthusiasm for the subject and an understanding of "showing your process" development sketches, etc. If you've ever done a painting and made a moodboard beforehand or gathered some reference images, that's the sort of thing they're interested in.

You can probably find examples of people's GCSE art coursework online if you're looking for visual examples, but I wouldn't worry if you don't have as much to show.
