Warwick MORSE

I am planning to apply for Economics at Uni but am curious about the Warwick BSc MORSE programme. Due to the lack of student videos on YouTube. I was wondering if anyone does this programme and can answer some of my questions regarding the course.

Thank you for being willing to answer some of my questions! Here are some things that will help guide my decision to do MORSE or not.
1) What other Unis did you apply for and for which course?
2) What made you decide to do MORSE over these courses?
3) How much of the course would you say is Economics and How much essay writing do you have to do?
4) If you did Further Maths which modules did you do and how much of it re-appeared in the Uni course?

I study Maths and Stats at Warwick. MORSE is in the same department and most of the courses are the same.

The big difference is that in first year, MORSE students must take 30 CATS of Economics. These Econ classes are from WBS which is the business school. In Maths and Stats, we can choose any 30 CATS we like.

Apart from that, all the core MORSE classes are Maths and Stats courses. So MORSE is still very maths focused.

Some people think MORSE is the same as Economics but they are quite different. Economics is fully taught by WBS and is more about writing essays and studying economic theory. MORSE is more about maths, stats and data.

If you like maths and also a bit of econ or data, MORSE is a good mix. If you really like economic theory, policy and writing, then Economics might suit you more.
