Exchange semester abroad

Hi, I’m thinking of doing an exchange semester either in Canada or the US
I’ve narrowed it down to the following 3 universities
McGill
Toronto
North Carolina (chapel hill)

If anyone has personal experience of being an exchange student at any of these universities, I’d love to hear from you. And any advice/tips would be great.

These are all good universities so I’m looking mainly for a good social experience as well .
Thanks

Hi there,

It is awesome to hear that you are interested in undertaking an exchange semester abroad! Studying abroad can be an incredible time, and you can gain many valuable skills and experiences from it.

While I didn't study abroad at any of these specific universities, I did study at Montana State University for an entire year. I'd be happy to chat about my experiences, the process of narrowing down options, and anything else you'd be interested in hearing about.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to chat! 🙂

I don't have the personal experience, but maybe virtual tours would give you a feel for the vibration at the universities.
