Should I even bother applying for University of Cambridge ?

Hiya I would your opinion on whether I should even bother applying for University of Cambridge for Computer science die to my below average stats for the course

My GCSE were 9999988776
(8 in comp sci and 6 in English language)

My A level predicted were A*A*A in Maths, Computer science and Further Maths

Note: I was originally meant to get a prediction in A* in further maths however my teacher marked me down a grade due to my first test back in November being An E

Any feedback is greatly appreciated and Id like to thank you for your time

Yes of course huh? You have brilliant grades and it shouldn’t even matter since applying isn’t that much additional effort - just try anyway regardless of if you think you can get in?

I agree.

It can be hard to tell whether people post threads of this kind just to show off and/or seek attention/affirmation and/or troll, or because they have been persuaded by the nonsense talked here and elsewhere that they are underqualified to apply to a competitive university.

Hahaha don't worry I'm not trying to show off I was just trying to be realistic as I was looking at the stats for last undergrads who got into the course at Cambridge and majority had aroun 9 grade8/9 most were predicted A*A*A* so I just wanting external opinions lol
