Biomed to Mes transfer at Newcastle University
Hi,
I have just been accepted into Newcastle's biomed BSc and hope to transfer into Med first year. I didn't meet the conditions for my offers for Medicine so i had to apply for BSc via clearing
I'm looking forward to working hard in the first year and hopefully doing well enough to score a transfer. Does anyone who has successfully transferred have any advice on how to study and manage time or what clubs and part time jobs to join to increase my chances?

Hey , first of all congratulations on your offer. Secondly if you work hard you can surely achieve it. Last to last year I think 2-4 students got an interview and I m not sure but 1 or 2 of them got an offer. One of them scored over 80% in first year so yes it’s possible to transfer.

The class size was around 300 but not everyone wanted to transfer
