Finding my Flatmates

Hello!

I'm a gap year student about to start as a first year at Bath in September! Because I already have grades i know what my accomodation is already and although I know we get access to the app that helps us find people on results day (good luck everyone!) I'm eager to see if anyones already been allocated in my block/flat.

I'm in Woodland Court, Block A. Let me know if you are too!

Its great to hear you're going to be joining us in September - what course will you be doing?

I found in my student days that as soon as we all got to our flat everyone just kind of got to know each other from then - we even had an international student who arrived a few days into Freshers' week and we all welcomed her and she settled in fine! So I wouldn't worry too much about finding people before you start as it will all slot into place when you arrive.

However, if you wanted to, you could have a look on Facebook for any official Bath Uni groups where you may be able to find people from your course or flat group. This is how I got in touch with a few of my flatmates before we came. Personally I did find it was good to know a few names and get familiar but it made no difference to how well everyone settled in in the end!

Woodland is a fab choice, its really conveniently located in a beautiful glade of trees tucked away from the main parade and I'm sure you'll have a great time there 🙂
