University Choices

Hello everyone,

As well as thinking about subjects this year and next, have you considered university choices too? If you are thinking about going to study a degree or an apprenticeship at university, why not book to visit a few universities on their Open Days? You don't have to visit alone, you can take family members and/ or friends with you.

University Open Days are really great ways of finding out more about the university in a friendly, informal and super relaxed way. At an Open Day, you can have a campus and accommodation tour, often led by students, so you will find out about the university from the student point of view. You will have the opportunity to visit the department / s you are considering studying with, meet the tutors who work in those departments and in some instances, you will be able to sit in a sample lecture. As well as the academic department staff, the student services departments are always on hand to answer your questions concerning student finance, accommodation, student support, the library team, academic skills....

Open Days really are a great way of finding out about the university and having all your questions answered. Here is the link to the University of Chester's Open Days page where you can find out more about our Open Days, and book if you'd like to visit. https://www.chester.ac.uk/study/visit-us/open-days/

Hope to see you soon!
