Am I classed as living at home or away from home?
Hi I'm due to start an undergraduate degree this September and I applied for student finance living in the parental home. I have since bought my own house with a partner which we pay for without any parental support and will be living there for the foreseeable future all year round- I'm 21 so not classed as an independent student I don't think. Will I need to update my application to say I'm living elsewhere or am I still classed as 'living at home' since it is my own house not student accommodation or temporary rental etc.

Hi there. This would be classed as being 'elsewhere' since you won't be living at your parental home. You can update this on your applicaiton. How to make changes to your application -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWepzsByw8w
