long residency #sfe #slc

I need some assistance and guidance regarding my recent assessment under the long residency criteria. Student Finance has advised that I must provide proof of residency covering the period from 4th June 2025 to 4th September 2025.

While I am able to provide documentation confirming my residency as of 4th June 2025, I am unsure how to demonstrate proof for the remainder of the required period, as we have not yet reached September.

Could you please advise on what forms of evidence would be acceptable to satisfy this requirement for the forthcoming period?

please note i have been assessed as a estranged student (independent student) and i do not own a home and can’t provide utility bills / rent bills. i live with my uncle and aunt.

please can someone help me.

thnks for reading

Hi Zain,

In this case we'd recommend uploading the evidence you currently have as soon as you can - we'll process this in around 17 working days.

Normally, that could be all we need since we're so close to September. If the team need any further details at all they'll let you know.

Thanks, Graeme
