There's no easy way to establish this, unfortunately.

If you look at in the Course Detail section on the International Business BA (Hons) page you can see which modules make up the course, and in which years they're taught. You can then lookup each of these modules in their Course and Modules Catalogue.

Although the relevant page from the Course and Modules Catalogue confirms the modules, they aren't links. So you need to use the search button in the top right corner to locate details of each module. Doing so reveals, for example, that ASPIRE 1 - Personal and Professional Skills - BFO0244 is assessed via a six-hour project (35%) and a 1500-word written assignment (65%). By contrast, Global Business Management - BFS1004 is assessed by a 3-minute presentation (40%) and 1000-word portfolio of coursework (60%).

You will need to repeat this process for each module to gain a full picture as to how the course is assessed.

You’ll usually get a mix of essays, group projects, and presentations, plus some exams here and there. Most business courses at Huddersfield lean a lot on coursework, so you’ll be assessed more on assignments and projects than just final exams.

Hi @Abu musa ,

I see you have already had lots of information shared with you which is excellent! 😊

I'd just like to add if you are confused or have any questions about what you see on the course page about how the degree is assessed, email the universities business school, or the course leader. I personally did this before entering university and found asking the questions directly to my future tutors to be really useful!

If your unsure about this email address, try emailing the university support and they could send you the right one.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia (University of Central Lancashire)
