Scared about financial hardship application

I've had to help my family out quite a bit due to us being low income, eg buying things we need to be delivered since my one parent is disabled and very tired from the little work she can do and my brother works 13 hours a day. I applied for financial hardship a little bit late since I, maybe stupidly, allowed someone else who's worked in law to read a rent agreement for me and told me it looked all good. I was exclusively told by my landlord to sign the document and not that it contained a rent agreement, so i was unaware that this document contained my rent agreement which was not the monthly/weekly fee advertised, but rather in 4 lump sums. Despite saving enough for a month and a half of rent, it isn't nearly enough for me to pay with. I've sent my evidence and double checked on two platforms it was filled out and even took screenshots of my answers just in case they didn't load. I'm actively terrified I'll have the rent agreement broken by my landlord. I don't want any debts forgiven or any additional money, just for the payment date to be brought forward. With every day that passes I get more and more scared and my head is going to darker places since obviously nobody wants to be out of a place to live. Does anyone know how fast sfe respond?

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It's around 17 working days (not including the weekend) to process hardship claims. This timescale is only a guide and it may be sooner just depending on the volume of work at the time. Thanks, Leah.
