Early Payment
Hi,
I'm due to start my first year in September and I am wondering if it is possible to receive my first maintenance payment a week early?
The payment date is set for 29.09 but I move into accommodation on 21.09, with my first week/freshers week commencing 23.09.
I receive the maximum maintenance loan and have received an overpayment deferral for this year, is there a way to move my payment date forward to the date I move in? Otherwise I cannot afford to purchase food and such in my first week.

Hi there. The only option to attempt to request an early payment is through Financial Hardship. Additionally, we only bring forward the first instalment in extreme circumstances. If you think this applies to yourself I would contact us directly we can then explain this and provide you with our Financial Hardship Confirmation form to submit. Thanks, David
